Schedule Helpers
Aiding with independence!
I initially designed these for my little one, who, despite craving independence, could not remember to rinse the conditioner out of her hair in the shower, put on deodorant after her showers, or bring a water bottle to gymnastics. We were both frustrated, and I knew there had to be a way to help her be independent without getting upset, nagging, or making her feel like I was micromanaging.
*Introduces Schedule Helpers to almost every room of the house*

Here's how we do it in our home:
We have the same decal in different areas of the house. For example, in her bathroom & bedroom we have the "After Shower Schedule Helper", which both have the same things listed on them so she can reference it in either room.
However, we also have two different "Get Ready for Gymnastics Schedule Helpers":
One is upstairs which has all the things she needs to do while she's upstairs getting ready for gymnastics (put up her hair, get dressed, etc).
The second one is downstairs on the fridge, and it has the things listed that she needs to grab from downstairs on her way out the door for gymnastics (water bottle, a snack, etc).

I can honesty say these Schedule Helpers have truly saved us from so many potential meltdowns & frustrations, all while helping her to be exactly what she wants to be: more independent!
