I initially designed these for my little one who could not remember to put on deodorant after her showers. To be fair, this was a new step to her routine, and I knew there had to be a way to help her be independent without getting upset, nagging, or making her feel like I was micromanaging.
These Schedule Helpers have truly saved us from so many potential meltdowns & frustrations, all while helping her to be exactly what she wants to be: more independent!

Chelsea's Note: We have separate decals in different areas of the house. For example, in her bathroom & bedroom upstairs we have the "After Shower Schedule Helper", which both have the same things listed on them so she can reference it in either room.
However, we also have a "Get Ready for Gymnastics Schedule Helper" upstairs which has all the things she needs to do while she's upstairs getting ready for gymnastics (put up her hair, get dressed, etc). Then, downstairs on the fridge, we have a different "Get Ready for Gymnastics Schedule Helper" that has the things listed that she needs to grab from downstairs on her way out the door (water bottle, a snack, etc).
Material Options:
Decal- This is a very durable sticker, fully laminated. You can install them almost anywhere! We have ours mostly on mirrors in our home, but we also use them on some walls. It can damage paint when removed, if using directly on a wall.
Glass Apeel- This is like a static cling material that uses tiny micro-suction technology to stick but not really stick to surfaces. You can use these on glass, painted walls, and anything else you want to be easily removable. These are not laminated, but should still last for years without damage to the inks.
Magnet- This is our durable decal from above, applied to magnetic sheeting. These are great for the fridge or a family schedule board, if you'd rather not have a sticker to peel down the road.
